Dr. Tomoyuki Kashima, MD, PhD
Chief Director, Oculo Facial Clinic Tokyo
Dr. Tomoyuki Kashima is a leading oculoplastic and orbital surgeon with more than a decade of international experience and over 10,000 surgeries per year performed across Japan and the United States. After graduating from Gunma University School of Medicine, he trained extensively in ophthalmology and oculoplastic surgery, including advanced study at UCLA in Los Angeles.
He went on to establish one of Japan’s first dedicated oculoplastic clinics and later founded Oculo Facial Clinic Tokyo, where he is recognized for pioneering techniques in orbital decompression, thyroid eye disease surgery, and eyelid reconstruction.
Dr. Kashima is a frequent invited speaker at global conferences across Asia, Europe, and the United States, including the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ASOPRS), the European Society of Oculoplastic Surgery, and the Asia Pacific Academy of Ophthalmology. His contributions have earned him recognition in international media, including selection by The New York Times as a “Next Era Leader” in 2019.

Dr. Saori Kotaki, MD
Tokyo Branch Director, Oculo Facial Clinic Tokyo
Dr. Saori Kotaki is highly regarded for her expertise in corrective eyelid and orbital surgery, with a special focus on restoring both vision and aesthetic balance. A graduate of the University of Tokyo School of Medicine, she trained in ophthalmology at the University of Tokyo Hospital and later refined her skills at leading institutions including JCHO Tokyo Shinjuku Medical Center.
In 2021, Dr. Kotaki joined Oculo Facial Clinic Tokyo, where she has become known for her meticulous surgical technique and empathetic patient care. In 2023, she further expanded her international experience through training at Eye-Tech Day Surgeries in Brisbane, Australia, deepening her expertise in advanced oculoplastic approaches.
Combining technical precision with compassion, Dr. Kotaki is dedicated to guiding each patient through their treatment journey with comfort and confidence. She is committed to helping individuals regain not only functional improvement and natural results, but also harmony, confidence, and quality of life.
